Helmet add-ons and types of aventail

1) Steel Type.
Mild steel is good enough for SCA and reenactment activities. Also can be done in spring steel by customer request.
Hardened steel 2 mm is for dueling.
Hardened 3 mm for group and mass battles of buhurt sport.

2) Finishing and Polishing. Feel free to choose any you like for a regular or fancy look on the list. Blackening and Brass Plating are more resistant to humidity and patina.

3) Helmet Padding. Find an example from the link provided sharukhanmarket.com/helmet-padding/

4) Fabric Aventail is used only to cover the hidden protection. It’s best to combine with a hardened dome 2 mm thick to reduce the overall weight of the helmet. Most lightweight and cheapest option. Can be various in colors, printed and decorated. Here is an example of a two-colored fabric aventail youtube.com/shorts/D5x-IgUlNPY

5) Lamellar Aventail is the most protective but a bit less mobile than other options. It can be reinforced with bosses in the center of the plates, as shown in the photo by the link provided sharukhanmarket.com/oriental-helmet
Scale aventail is under development, so I have nothing to show right now.

6) Chainmail Aventail is something between the previous two options, so a middle level of mobility and protection.
Possible to combine chainmail and fabric aventail. See an example sharukhanmarket.com/tunka-helmet/

7) Aventail Brass Edging adds a bit of a fancy look to your helmet.

8) Titanium Hidden Protection is an extra option that allows switching from mild or hardened steel protection of the face and neck to reduce the overall weight of the helmet. See an example of regular hidden protection youtube.com/shorts/NMMlyAPL3ek
Please note that the hidden protection design may vary by helmet type.

9) Collarbone Plates attached to the liner collar under the aventail for extra protection. See an example youtube.com/shorts/NMMlyAPL3ek
Design and plate amount may vary by helmet type.

10) Simon Strap is used to prevent the helmet from falling during fighting or grappling and attaches to the back of the helmet, under the aventail, to connect to body armor on the spine.

11) Bars or a perforated plate are being installed on the eye slot to protect the eyes.
